Earlier this week Move Inc., the operator of REALTOR.com?, shared some big news. Starting in the second half of 2012, millions of property listings from across the nation are coming to your living room through the launch of the REALTOR.com? channel.
Initially debuting on the Cox cable network, the REALTOR.com? channel will bring listings to over 55 million U.S homes. And by doing this, REALTOR.com? becomes the first company to deliver a real estate search experience on the three screens consumers use most: computer, mobile and TV.
The channel will be powered by the Home Tour Network, part of the RealBizMedia group, and will provide agents a highly geo-targeted way to reach consumers. Property listings will be delivered to viewers based on their location, and will be displayed according to price range. Additionally, the REALTOR.com? channel will feature high-quality photo-based videos and descriptions that are provided by agents.
Only REALTOR.com? listings will appear on the new channel ? ensuring that consumers are able to view the freshest and most accurate database of homes on the market. The listing are pulled directly from over 850 MLSs, with 85% of them updated every 15 minutes and the remainder at least every 24 hours.
