Here is our update on the Edmonton real estate market. (Previous week?s numbers are in brackets). For the past 7 days:
New listings: 66 (149, 190, 239)
# Sales: 87 (144, 146, 164)
Ratio: 132% (97%, 77%, 69%)
# Price changes: 23 (69, 64, 114)
# Expired/Off Market Listings: 141 (273, 143, 390)
Net loss/gain in listings this week: -162 (-268, -99, -315)
Active single family home listings: 1836 (1908, 2043, 2104)
Active condo listings: 1301 (1338, 1432,1438)
Homes 4-week running average: $401k ($400k, $392k, $390k)
Condos 4-week running average: $224k ($226k, $230k, $228k)The last weekly update of the year... If we based our weekly report on our office productivity I'd telling you the market is on fire, but the numbers show the market looks just as it should for the last week of the year. The only unusual stat is the rising average price of single family homes. The?REALTORS? Association of Edmonton is reporting 684 sales so far this month for the greater Edmonton Area, which should put us around 800 for the month (slightly below average).
